JOB SUMMARY
Are you a Human Resources professional looking to belong to not only a great team, but also for a position where you can make a difference? Are you customer-service focused and strive in fast pace environment?  If so, we are looking for someone like you to fill our Human Resources Consultant position.  In this role, you would be working with a client portfolio, and would be responsible to provide partnership development and consulting services primarily focused on staffing activities that align with the attraction, recruitment and selection of qualified candidates.  You will also be responsible for job evaluation and position classification. 

By building a close working relationship with your portfolio, you are the first point of contact and will provide information and support for potential employee relations issues as well as information relevant to learning and development initiatives.  Working as part of the HR Consulting Services team, you are required to have solid interpersonal and communication skills to provide proactive support to clients while demonstrating strong service orientation.

AGLC is continually evolving and in this HR role, you will have the opportunity to participate in various initiatives.  We are looking to build on the current team with someone who is willing to share and draw on their own experiences in support of the overall HR strategy. 

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • A related University Degree and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience as a Human Resource Generalist/Business partner.  Preference will be given to those with more than 5 years of experience.
  • Solid experience working as a business partner in a full range of Human Resources services is essential.
  • Employee Relations experience is essential for your success in this role.
  • Experience with Hay Group job evaluation is an asset.
  • CPHR designation is desirable.
