The Gaming branch is responsible to achieve annual revenue targets through provincially operated gaming activities that align with AGLC's vision of responsible gaming. The branch ensures that Gaming activities in the province are operated with integrity and social responsibility, aligning with Gaming Regulations and Board Policy and deliver on commitments to stakeholders in the province of Alberta.
Gaming activities included Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (ETGs), Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), Lottery and Online Gambling.

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Supervisor, Lottery Sales (South), this role is accountable for sales and account management across a large retail territory in Southern Alberta, overseeing up to 350 retail locations on a structured call cycle. The position requires building and sustaining strong business relationships with stakeholders at all levels while ensuring retailers are supported, engaged, and aligned with lottery sales objectives.
You will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies, delivering product knowledge, and providing retailer training to drive sales growth and maintain operational excellence while ensuring the lottery business is operated in a socially responsible manner with integrity and consumer confidence.
This role involves extensive travel throughout the Southern Alberta territory, including regular overnight stays. Success requires strong business acumen, confident communication and negotiation abilities, and the capacity to work independently while managing time and priorities effectively.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Post-Secondary diploma, degree or certificate in a related discipline such as Business Administration, Sales and Marketing.
- At least 3 years of sales-related experience.
- Experience with route sales, consumer packaged goods and retail sales is required.
- A Valid Driver’s License and clear abstract as well as a reliable vehicle is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, CRM systems and web-based databases and applications.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to lift upto 25 lbs.
