JOB SUMMARY

Are you passionate about accuracy, accountability, and making a difference in your community? We're looking for a highly detailed and analytical individual to join our team as a Financial Review Analyst, where your expertise will help ensure charitable gaming proceeds are managed responsibly and transparently.

 

Reporting to the Supervisor, Charity Financial Reporting, this role will play a key role in reviewing and reconciling financial reports from charitable gaming licensees by supporting licensees in understanding charitable gaming policies, guiding them through accurate reporting and providing clear communication when issues arise.  This role is more than numbers - it's about building trust.  Your work will directly contribute to ensuring that gaming proceeds are spent appropriately and in alignment with community benefit.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • High school diploma plus three (3) years related accounting experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with some accounting courses.
  • A diploma in business administration/accounting/finance is an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong independent decision-making skills both analytical and problem solving
  • Superior time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
