The Gaming branch is responsible to achieve annual revenue targets through provincially operated gaming activities that align with AGLC's vision of responsible gaming. The branch ensures that Gaming activities in the province are operated with integrity and social responsibility, aligning with Gaming Regulations and Board Policy and deliver on commitments to stakeholders in the province of Alberta.

Gaming activities included Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (ETGs), Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), Lottery and Online Gambling.

JOB SUMMARY

 

Please note: This is a Temporary Part-Time position until October 1, 2026.

 

AGLC is seeking an organized, detail‑oriented Lottery Distribution Clerk to join our Lottery Distribution team within the Gaming Division. This role plays a key part in ensuring Alberta’s lottery products are accurately prepared, securely handled, and efficiently delivered to retailers and partners across the province.

 

In this fast‑paced operational environment, you’ll contribute to the smooth daily operations of the Lottery Distribution Centre by preparing orders, supporting inventory controls, processing returned product, and ensuring secure warehouse practices. What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and process instant lottery ticket orders daily by picking, scanning, verifying, and labeling retailer orders.
  • Process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of labels and courier documentation.
  • Conduct inventory integrity checks and assist with balancing stock counts.
  • Prepare and package promotional materials, retailer supplies, and special items.
  • Process buybacks, including full books and loose tickets, and record and track returned product for retailer credit.
  • Maintain operational logs and produce reports as needed.
  • Support warehouse operations, including stocking supplies, maintaining a secure work area, and preparing bins and totes for courier pickup.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Retail Services, Winner’s Edge, Gaming Services, and Consumer Relations to meet operational needs.
  • Assist with additional duties such as marketing promotions or labelling projects when operationally feasible.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining high quality, accuracy, and operational standards in a fast‑paced environment with tight timelines
  • Team‑oriented with strong verbal communication skills
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Assets include:
    • Accounting/data entry experience
