JOB SUMMARY

Managed Services Analyst – Join Our Dynamic IT Team!

Are you a strategic IT professional who thrives at the intersection of technology, business, and vendor partnerships? We’re looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking Managed Services Analyst to help drive the evolution of our IT service delivery model.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Managed Services, you will play a critical role in supporting and advancing a diverse portfolio of on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid solutions that enable business operations across AGLC. This position is key to ensuring solutions are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle - from planning and procurement to implementation, optimization, and ongoing support.

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive solution lifecycle plans, including vendor and contract management strategies, IT security and compliance alignment, and financial and budget planning. Working closely with Corporate Services, IT Security & Risk Management, business units, and external vendors, you will ensure each solution within your portfolio is aligned with organizational priorities, governance standards, and evolving business needs.

You will act as a trusted advisor and facilitator, bringing together cross-functional teams to define solution roadmaps, establish clear processes, and drive continuous improvement. This includes leading discussions on emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and automation, and supporting the introduction of new tools and capabilities that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

As part of your mandate, you will also contribute to strategic and operational planning activities, support procurement and RFx processes, and help shape the future direction of managed services within IT. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise vendors, ensuring alignment between vendor roadmaps and AGLC’s business objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, complex environment, can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and is passionate about delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that make a meaningful impact across the organization.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

We’re looking for a collaborative, strategic thinker with strong technical and relationship management skills, who thrives in a dynamic and complex environment.

What you bring:

  • A degree in Computer Science (or related field) and at least 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of technologies and platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design, analysis, and implementation in a medium to large IT environment
  • Ability to research, evaluate, and introduce new technologies and processes
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, even with limited information
  • Proven ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and outcomes
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and facilitation skills across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and optimizing contract value
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language
  • High degree of adaptability and ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building trust and collaboration
