The Gaming branch is responsible to achieve annual revenue targets through provincially operated gaming activities that align with AGLC's vision of responsible gaming. The branch ensures that Gaming activities in the province are operated with integrity and social responsibility, aligning with Gaming Regulations and Board Policy and deliver on commitments to stakeholders in the province of Alberta.

Gaming activities included Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (ETGs), Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), Lottery and Online Gambling.

JOB SUMMARY

AGLCs Gaming Business Division is seeking a collaborative, strategic, and operationally focused leader to join us as Manager, Inventory Operations. This role oversees four key Supply Chain areas – Electronics Repair, Inventory Support, Lottery & Signs, and Warehouse support, ensuring the effective repair, movement, tracking, and deployment of gaming equipment across Alberta.

 

This work directly supports gaming sustainability, customer service delivery, and operational excellence for over 800 VLT retailers, 28 casinos, and more than 2,800 lottery retailers across the province.

 

You will be the subject matter expert on electronic gaming hardware, a champion for continuous improvement, and a people‑focused leader who builds strong, high‑performing teams.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop four operational teams—Electronics Repair, Inventory Support, Lottery & Signs, and Warehouse Support—through coaching, mentoring, staffing, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end inventory and operations management, including forecasting, purchasing, distribution, inventory accuracy, warehouse oversight, cycle counts, repairs, refurbishment flow, disposal processes, and deployment of gaming equipment and signage across Alberta.
  • Track, report, and provide solutions for any productivity issues on electronic repair, parts distribution and Lottery installs or services.
  • Champion continuous improvement by establishing operational metrics, implementing best practices, optimizing production and repair workflows, and identifying efficiencies across warehouse, supply chain, and technical operations.
  • Collaborate across divisions and with external partners, including vendors, Field Services, Logistics, Technical Operations, and key gaming stakeholders, to resolve issues, support project demands, and ensure seamless field operations province‑wide.
  • Ensure a safe, compliant work environment by supporting OH&S practices, conducting facility inspections, and recommending maintenance and upgrades.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Post secondary degree in management
  • 3+ years experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, electronic repairs, or field services.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience building strong in person and remote teams, driving process improvements, and navigating change with clear communication, sound judgment, and a results‑driven, collaborative approach
  • Assets:
    • Experience in technical operations, electronics production, or the gaming industry
    • Knowledge of electronic gaming hardware and strong electronics/technical aptitude
    • Experience with SAP, Clientele, Solochain, or other inventory management systems
