IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC’s businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

AGLC is seeking an experienced SAP Platform Solution Architect to lead and support architecture activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of platform solutions. The Platform Architect will provide the overall architectural vision and guidance to multidisciplinary product teams. Providing technical expertise, advice, and recommendations related to software architecture and continuous improvement. Solutions include products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services. The portfolio includes the SAP S/4 HANA platform and will be working with other platform architects.

 What you will be doing:

  • Provide the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure solutions meet business needs, strategic goals, and align with architectural governance and standards.
  • Assess and design technology specific architecture solutions and prepare required artifacts.
  • Automate processes and design various architecture solutions/programs for specified applications and platforms.
  • Work with AGLC’s enterprise architects, domain architects, external architecture consultants, and product delivery teams in all aspects of design, development, and deployment.
  • Review ITSM, ITIL, Information Security, and Architecture policies and procedures to ensure adherence.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

The following is required:

  • Minimum of a Degree in computer science or related technology focused discipline.
  • 4 years IT experience, with 2 years experience in development and/or solution architecture design on the SAP S/4 HANA platform.
  • 2 years experience leading projects or supervising others.

 

Additional knowledge and experience:

    • In depth knowledge of enterprise architecture disciplines such as business, application, data, cloud and security.
    • Integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Azure Integration Services.
    • Database technologies like MS SQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
    • Application development technologies and frameworks including web development, client server, multi-tier, database and middleware.
    • Knowledge and use of ITIL/ITSM processes.

 

The following are considered assets:

    • Experience in application or platform lifecycle management.
    • Experience with the Accenture AESG.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure platform.
