- Registered/enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Returning to full-time studies in September for the next academic term.

JOB SUMMARY:
Summer Opportunity: Digital Workspace Assistant in action! Make This the Summer You Build Modern Digital Workplaces
Interested in how organizations modernize collaboration, redesign digital spaces, and migrate content into tools that actually work for people? As a Digital Workspace Assistant with AGLC, you’ll help teams transition into better digital environments using SharePoint and Microsoft 365. You’ll design team sites, configure collaboration spaces, and support content migration so employees can work smarter, faster and more securely.
You’ll work directly with business teams across the organization, helping them plan, structure and adopt new digital workspaces. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience with enterprise collaboration platforms, digital adoption practices, and real-world implementation projects guided by experienced specialists.

What You’ll Do:
- Build SharePoint team sites with aligned architecture, navigation, libraries and permissions
- Meet with business units to gather requirements and understand workflows
- Configure documents, lists, metadata and components that support day-to-day collaboration
- Guide teams through content migration from older storage environments to SharePoint
- Test and validate each site for usability, search, permissions and structure
- Conduct light training to help teams confidently use their new digital workspaces
- Track progress using Microsoft Planner and AGLC’s established SOPs
- Support up to four business units at a time, completing 10–15 team site engagements over the summer

Duration: May 4, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
Hybrid position (up to 2 days a week working from home)
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Currently enrolled and returning to Bachelor of Computer Science, Web Development, Business Information Systems or Digital Media Degree programs
- Experience using SharePoint (end-user or administrator level)
- Familiarity with building sites, libraries or document structures
- Interest in digital adoption, collaboration tools or workplace modernization
- Organizational skills and attention to detail when managing structure and content
- Confidence working independently and communicating with business stakeholders
- Coursework or projects related to digital transformation or digital literacy would be considered an asset.
