JOB SUMMARY

 

Kickstart your technical career with hands-on experience in Alberta’s gaming industry! 

 

AGLC is seeking a motivated post-secondary student to join our Technical Services team for the summer. This unique opportunity offers practical exposure to gaming technology, preventative maintenance, and technical assurance processes in a dynamic casino environment.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Work alongside senior technicians during day-to-day service calls and technical troubleshooting.
  • Participate in scheduled terminal maintenance and learn how to maintain peripheral devices.
  • Gain exposure to multiple gaming platforms and vendor technologies on our casino floors.
  • Assist with field procedure reviews, technical documentation, and training exercises.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, maintain open and frequent communication with Senior Technician and Field Services Manager.
  • Contribute to training video development and editing as opportunities arise.
  • Complete our basic technical training program before entering the casino environment.

 

Duration: May 5, 2026 to August 28, 2026

100% onsite. Travel required within Calgary.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Currently enrolled and returning to Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Technologist or Electronic & Computer Technology
  • Knowledge of electrical safety procedures
  • Team collaboration with other technicians
  • Basic computer/MS knowledge
