  • Registered/enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Returning to full-time studies in September for the next academic term.

JOB SUMMARY

 

Summer Student Opportunity: Liquor/Cannabis Licensing Specialist in action!

 

Join us this summer as a Liquor/Cannabis Licensing Specialist where you will determine cannabis, special event, or liquor licensing eligibility! You will gain hands on experience with many facets of applicant and policy assessment.

 

A day in the life:

  • Lots of public, applicant, and industry stakeholder communication.
  • Reviewing applications to ensure accuracy and compliancy with legislation and policies.
  • Partnering with stakeholders through the application process.

 

Perks of the Job:

  • 100% onsite, in office
  • Duration: May 4, 2026 until August 28, 2026

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Currently enrolled and returning to regulatory, liberal arts, or business-related degree programs
    • Must have completed year 1 of study
  • Experience interpreting legal documents
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
