- Registered/enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Returning to full-time studies in September for the next academic term.

JOB SUMMARY

AGLC’s Policy and Public Affairs Division is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our Communications & Corporate Marketing Branch as a Marketing Coordinator – Summer Student.
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Marketing & Brand, this position will support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across traditional and digital channels. You will assist with campaign development, social media content creation, and performance reporting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain practical skills in marketing strategy and execution.
To be successful in this position you will:
- Assist with campaign planning and asset coordination
- Supporting traditional advertising efforts (print, radio, out-of-home)
- Draft and scheduling organic social media content
- Monitor AGLC’s social media channels
- Compile analytics reports using tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions

Hybrid position (up to 2 days a week working from home)
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Returning to studies in Fall 2026
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for varied audiences
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content scheduling
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Creative mindset and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset
