JOB SUMMARY
Summer Opportunity: Server Support Specialist in action! Make This the Summer You Level Up Your Cloud & Server Skills
Want real hands-on experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, Active Directory, automation and enterprise infrastructure? As a Server Support Specialist with AGLC’s IT team, you’ll get to work on the systems and tools that keep an entire organization running - from identity and access management to virtual machines, databases, cloud environments and data centers.
Over the summer, you’ll support server provisioning and decommissioning, cloud identity management, VMware environments, documentation updates, and automation initiatives. You’ll also gain exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Active Directory, M365, VMware and more - all while being coached by experienced professionals who will help you grow technically and professionally.
If you’re looking for an IT summer role that goes beyond “basic tech support,” this is it.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with decommissioning and provisioning servers across production and non-production environments
- Support Identity Governance & Administration tools, including user roles and application maintenance
- Perform M365 tenant maintenance including licensing automation and usage reporting
- Support Active Directory forests including object cleanup, validation and security improvements
- Help document and maintain Azure Landing Zones and EntraID environments
- Create and maintain scripts using Graph and other tools
- Assist with data center inventory - tagging, tracking, and documentation updates
- Contribute to Azure DevOps script imports and process refinements
- Your work may support both corporate and non-corporate IT projects throughout the summer.

Duration: May 4, 2026, until August 28, 2026.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Currently enrolled and returning to NAIT Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or Digital Media and IT degrees.
- Experience with PowerShell, C#, .NET Framework
- Experience with Microsoft SQL databases
- Experience with VMware virtualization infrastructure and environments
- Experience with Networking Concepts
- Microsoft Azure or Entra ID (certifications are a plus)
- You should also be curious about cloud identity + infrastructure, comfortable learning new systems and tools, organized and detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively and independently.
