JOB SUMMARY

 

 Summer Opportunity: Service Desk Analyst in action! Make this the Summer You Learn Real IT Support

 

Want a summer role that gives you genuine IT experience instead of just reading manuals or resetting test passwords in a lab? As a Service Desk Analyst, you’ll work on the front line of IT support - helping employees troubleshoot devices, walk through issues, resolve tickets, and support key operational processes that keep the organization running every day.

 

From onboarding new users to supporting equipment refresh projects and learning incident management, you’ll gain practical, resume-ready experience that sets you up for future roles in IT support, systems administration, and technical operations.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, chat, walk-up service and IT portal tickets
  • Log and manage service requests and incidents using the ITSM tool (e.g., Marval)
  • Assist with onboarding tasks such as accounts, devices and access provisioning
  • Support employee lifecycle processes (Joiner, Mover, Leaver tickets)
  • Escalate issues to other IT teams when needed and participate in resolution
  • Learn and support AGLC technologies including Windows 11, iOS, Entra ID, B2C, Active Directory, Adobe apps and more
  • Participate as a Project Analyst on the IT Asset Refresh project to support planning and equipment deployment

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Currently enrolled and returning to Bachelor of Information Technology, Computer Science Degree
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Technical comfort with desktops, laptops and iOS devices
  • Physical ability to move computer equipment and printer toners
  • Assets include Apple, Microsoft, COMP TIA, or ITIL certifications
