As an iGaming Compliance Analyst you will help build and deliver the compliance program overseeing the open internet gaming market.  This role will ensure success of the overall iGaming compliance program by assessing sector and sub-sector level risk and delivering actionable insights to compliance teams from both qualitative and quantitative information sources.

 

Reporting to the Manager, iGaming ATF Oversight/Planning and Priorities, the successful candidate will:

  • Conduct research on emerging regulatory risks in the internet gaming space.
  • Build new and improve existing compliance indicators as part of a comprehensive regulatory compliance framework.
  • Independently assess the effect of compliance activity outputs and indicators on the compliance profile of internet gaming registrants.
  • Assist in the construction and delivery of compliance plans in collaboration with compliance teams.
  • Continually reassess and update compliance priorities.
  • Monitor compliance program effectiveness and deliver recommendations for improvement.

 

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • A Post-Secondary diploma
  • 5+ years of regulatory or investigative experience with a gaming regulator, law enforcement agency, or similar organization.
  • Superior knowledge of MS Office Suite including SharePoint.
  • Advanced knowledge, demonstrated expertise and experience of the following:
    • regulatory risk theory, tools, and approaches including the role of regulatory response in driving compliance outcomes
    • risk identification, assessment, analysis and management, including primary and derived sources;
    • development of risk indicators and risk tools; and
    • compliance program development.
  • Detail oriented and critical thinking to make inferences, including the ability to work under pressure, multi-task and adhere to strict timelines in a fast paced and demanding environment.
  • Excellent research skills including content discovery, critical thinking and analysis, communication of results based on audience.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI is an asset.
