Summer student opportunities at AGLC will be posted on February 18, 2025. The application process will be open for two weeks, closing on March 3, 2025. In March, AGLC will review applications and will contact successful applicants for interviews. After the interview process, the selected candidates will receive offers in April for a starting date in the first week of May. We encourage you to apply for all positions you are interested in!
Only current students are eligible. If you are not a full-time returning to studies in the fall, please review other job opportunities at AGLC that might be of interest to you! To be eligible for summer student opportunities candidates must meet the following: • Legally entitled to work in Canada and at least 18 years of age. • Registered/enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution. • Returning to full-time studies in September 2025 for the next academic term. .
The summer student positions are from May to August 2025 (4 months). Depending on your role, you may have the opportunity to participate in our flexible work program which allows staggered start/end times as well as hybrid work-from-home and office options.
No, this is not a co-op or internship program. Summer students at AGLC are more like a regular summer job. You will not be required to complete additional paperwork or create presentations when you return to your post-secondary school.
Yes! We want to help you grow in your career journey, and as part of the process you will receive coaching from your supervisor/manager and your coworkers. At the beginning of the program, you will have an opportunity to create goals that support strengthening your skills and abilities. At the completion of the program, your supervisor/manager will sit down with you to review your wins and provide valuable feedback to help you grow beyond your time at AGLC.
