Summer student candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Registered/enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Returning to full-time studies in September for the next academic term.

JOB SUMMARY

Summer Opportunity: Business Analyst

 

Join a dynamic and professional team this summer to learn Business Analysis at AGLC. Learn AGLC’s Business Analysis and how it integrates with overall project delivery! You will obtain real-life, hands-on skills working through projects and initiatives and leave with tangible artifacts to assist you with projects or deliverables in the future.

 

The Summer Student Business Analyst, in collaboration with Team Leads and/or Senior Business Analysts, will participate in:

  • Project meetings and workshops
  • Requirements gathering, verification, analysis and documentation
  • Maintaining and managing requirements using Azure DevOps/Modern Requirements
  • UAT planning and execution for releases for enterprise application platforms
  • Business process mapping

 

Through these tasks, the student will develop both technical and soft skills essential in business analysis. The development of relationships, support to the business areas and collaboration with team members are essential outcomes of this role. The student will receive guidance and feedback from seasoned professionals that will provide a comprehensive and practical learning experience. The summer student will return to school with strength in synthesizing and analyzing data, the ability to build and interpret business process and enhanced documentation skills.

 

Perks of the Job:

  • Hybrid office setup. (Three days in office, two at home)
  • Duration: May 5, 2025, until August 29,2025.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Currently enrolled and returning to a Business Analyst post-secondary program which may include University level or Polytechnic Institutes.  
  • Knowledge of BPMN is an asset.
