Summer student candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Registered/enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Returning to full-time studies in September for the next academic term.

JOB SUMMARY

Summer Opportunity: Liquor/Cannabis Licensing Specialist

 

Join us this summer as a Liquor/Cannabis Licensing Specialist where you will learn licensing eligibility requirements for liquor sales and service, such as restaurants, stores, and special events, and cannabis retail stores and representatives. You will gain hands on experience with applications.

 

A day in the life:

  • Public, applicant, and industry stakeholder communication.

  • Reviewing applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with legislation and policies.

  • Ensuring records are accurate.

 

Details of the Job:

  • 100% onsite in the office.

  • Duration: May 5, 2025, until August 29,2025.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Currently enrolled and returning to Bachelor of Commerce programs at MacEwan, University of Alberta, Concordia, or NAITs Business Administration.  

  • Experience interpreting legal and administrative documents.
