Summer student candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Registered/enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Returning to full-time studies in September for the next academic term.

JOB SUMMARY

Summer Opportunity: Network Analyst in action!

 

Summers calling, and so is your next big opportunity! Ready to make this the summer you build skills and your resume, with AGLC! Join us as a summer student Network Analyst who will support Corporate and Gaming Network infrastructure. You will have a major part of our Casino and VLT Network refresh project so you will be working in the heart of our Network Operations team.

Your daily playlist of responsibilities:

  • New technology support and implementation
  • Supporting Network operations and Network infrastructure tickets, calls, and queries.
  • Changing or installing physical infrastructure such as Wide Area Networks, Cables, and data closets.  
  • Accessing SolarWinds Orion, TELUS Jasper LTE Portal, and DCIM for monitoring, reporting, and logging.
  • Using Visio and DCIM to complete Network Designs.

 

Perks of the Job:

  • Travel within Edmonton and beyond, with potential overnight hotel stays. Including working outside regular hours.
  • 100% onsite in office.
  • Duration: May 5, 2025, until August 29,2025.

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Currently enrolled and returning to degree programs related to Networking and IT such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or Telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing, Routing and switching, Network protocols, and network devices.
